United States, Georgia, Atlanta Flight Ops 03-Jun-2024 Ref #: 24970 LinkedIn Tag: How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) Working in a team environment, Simulator Support co-ops design and perform hardware and software modifications to Delta's fleet of flight training devices/simulators, ensuring training devices meet FAA requirements, and pilot training needs. Summary of responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks): • Reports to Delta’s manager of simulator engineering. • Integrates software modifications into flight training devices/simulators in order to maintain commonality with Delta’s fleet of aircraft. • Designs hardware modifications of the training devices per simulator and aircraft manufacturers’ service bulletins. • Assist with acceptance testing of new flight training devices/simulators, and with the annual FAA requalification of the devices. • Practices safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures What You Need To Succeed (minimum Qualifications) • Working towards a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related discipline. • Experience with software editing, code debugging, and revision control using various computer platforms and operating systems. • Strong technical, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills, and be capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously. • Must perform with a high level of accuracy. • Excellent verbal and written skills. • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles. • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
